(I have spilt coffee on my laptop! So, my keyboard is crunching as I type this.)
We had Lilly's birthday party this weekend. It started off as a barnyard them, because she loves tractors, but with the recently watched Toy Story, she quickly has turned into Jessie. The party was at out church. And our friends and neighbors Jim and Linda McConnell, of Reminisce, graciously volunteered to video and photograph the party. I wish I could show you all of the pictures, and the video is priceless. There are quite a few pics, so her we go.
Started off with the pig pin cake.
Lilly lives on "chok me-lk"
Everyone got to take home a picture frame, and will receive a special picture.
Lilly with her pig balloon
Cassidey is a great hugger.
Amelia rubs her head when she's tired.
Fun with air hockey
She gets excited :)
Lilly got tired form all the fun and had to lay down for a minute (literally just a minute)
We had a smore station.
Amelia thoroughly enjoyed chocolate.
We had a hard time getting the girls to pose together for a picture.
Everyone went on the hay ride.
Lilly likes to drive with Pawpaw. So stinking cute!
Sweet birthday girl.
Jules and Regan giving kisses.
Each child say with Lilly in the "truck bed" while she opened their present. Thing was, no one wanted to get down when it was time for the next kid. Who can blame them, it did look comfortable.
Lilly opened this cow dog from her Ni and Papaw, and immediately began hugging and rocking it so seriously. I would love to know what was going through their heads.
This shot shows the skills of Ms Linda. Lilly was in a pretty crabby mood by this point, but Linda somehow got her to smile.
Everyone enjoys a wagon ride.
Fun times = great laughs
Thank you so much to all of our friends and family for making this such a fun time for our sweet little Lilly.
And supper thanks to Jim and Linda, for videoing and photographing the party. I highly recommend having someone video your party. It's priceless, someone not worried about chasing a kid, or preoccupied with other things, that can capture all the great moments that the parents miss "doing" the party. Plus, it is set to music and with a great setup.
If you're looking for someone local, I would recommend Reminisce Video, DVD, and digital photography
